Language considered offensive or taboo, especially in movies/films.

(informal, derogatory) Any person or group crusading for a particular usage or omission within a language; also called language cops, tongue troopers.

(sociolinguistics) A form of a language that is institutionally promoted, regarded as the most "correct" or neutral variety; used by a population for public and formal purposes.

(computing theory) A set of finite strings (called words) made of symbols (from a finite set of symbols, called an alphabet).

(computing) Any programming language that consists (mostly) of a series of commands, typically assigning values to objects; a procedural language.

(slang) Text written in an incomprehensible script, especially Japanese, Chinese, Arabic or Hindi.
