(politics, government) In Canadian federal and provincial parliaments, a period of regularly scheduled time in the lower chamber during which members of the official opposition party and other members may direct questions to the prime minister and to cabinet ministers concerning affairs of state.

(linguistics) A question which has only two possible responses: yes (affirmative) or no (negative).

(chiefly linguistics) A question that is introduced by a wh-word (what, where, why, etc.) and cannot be answered by yes or no.

A question that tries to make someone answer in a certain way, usually incorrectly (i.e. that seems to have an obvious answer that is however incorrect), or that doesn't have a correct answer or that hides the real question or some difficulty. Usually a loaded question.

(politics) A time during a sitting of parliament wherein Members of Parliament ask questions of government ministers (including the Prime Minister) which they are obliged to answer.
