(anatomy) A region of grey matter found in Rexed lamina VII of the spinal column.

A group of large motor neurons situated deep in the medullary reticular formation. It contains the cell bodies of nerves that innervate the muscles of the soft palate, pharynx, and larynx.

Synonym of red nucleus

One of the cerebellar nuclei, lying immediately to the medial side of the nucleus dentatus, and partly covering its hilus.
