The three 密 (mitsu)s that should be avoided in order to avoid infection during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, promoted by the Japanese government, translatable as "the three C's": 密(みっ)閉(ぺい) (mippei, “closed spaces”), 密(みっ)集(しゅう) (misshū, “crowded spaces”), 密(みっ)接(せつ) (missetsu, “close-contact settings”).
