Gifts include, from the Curator, state halberds and a back-plate, engraved and gilded, probably from the atelier of Seusenhofer; this belonged to one of the Princes Radzivil and remained in the possession of the family until recently. It is the sixth specimen retaining the hoguine.

Bolvs in Engliſh is called a morſell. It is a medicine laxatiue, in forme and faſhion it is meanely whole, and it is ſwallowed by little gobbets. That last problem did intrude on Hazzard’s roamings, and when she refers to the living city it is with periodic references to thefts of cars and wallets, with a warning not to carry anything “snatchable” by the thieves on motorcycles who whiz through the streets.
