To me anyone presenting herself as female, is a female (TS/TV or anything else). Anyone presenting himself as male is a male (idem), anyone presenting him/herself as anything inbetween is considered hermafrodite/androgyn. It's a question of social role and a litlle tact, not genotype and/or fenotype. What would you call a XY-woman, an XX-man or a biological hermafrodite (they *do* exist)? A woman who has undergone hysterectomy or a castrated man ?
