Nowadays Burel Factory manufactures burel fabrics, with new weavers, carders and dressmakers. The majority of the workers in the factory are from this region and holders of the ancestral knowledge in the production of the burel fabric. The artisans work in partnership with several designers integrated into the project, in an open outsourcing system, producing creative burel products both for home and clothing.
