daffadil

Out of all theſe deſcriptiones I gather that our comen daffadil / is one kynde of Narciſſus / where of Pliny maketh mention / when as he ſpeaketh of it with the herbiſhe color. The faſſhon of the lefe / flour and ſtalk of our daffadil agreeth well with the deſcription both of Dioſcorides / & Theophraſt / only the color of the floure is contrary or beſyde the deſcription of Dioſcorides.
