To reach the reserve from Muyu, either flag down Songbai-bound buses on the main road (note that the reserve gates are as far up this road as foreigners are allowed to travel) or bargain with the Xingshan minibus drivers for a charter (about ¥50 to the reserve gates, or ¥400 for the day), who otherwise run back to Xingshan until the afternoon.
