𡨸喃: ベトナム語で「字喃（チュノム）」の Nôm 形、すなわちベトナム固有の表記体系であるチュノムを指す語。「南方の文字」を意味する表現。
博物館は、ベトナムの文字の歴史をよりよく理解してもらうために、チュ・ノム（南方の文字）で書かれた多くの資料を展示している。
