Under the microscope, a bdelloid rotifer clung to the moss, its tiny cilia beating rhythmically as it fed.

顕微鏡で見ると、淡水や湿った土壌に生息する輪形動物の一群であるベドロイド類の個体が苔にしがみつき、微細な繊毛を規則正しく動かしながら餌を食べていた。
