Borda count

A voting system in which voters rank candidates in order of preference and points are awarded to candidates based these rankings. The winning candidate is one with the most points.

順位付け投票方式。投票者が候補者を好みの順に並べ、その順位に応じた点数が割り当てられ、合計点が最も高い候補者が勝者となる投票制度。

When selecting a speaker, the association used the Borda count, where voters rank candidates and points are assigned according to those rankings to determine the winner.
