This specimen shows a wide, concave and smooth fossula with a clear-cut thread tying the first tooth to the first denticle; there are still four other irregular denticles after which the inside part of the fossula sinks and roundens.
In the years after Wilmington, when I had realized I needed to work, do research, and write, we were working together at the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris, side by side under the little green lights in the old library that so many of us loved.
So you're much more part of the community if you go out and do festivally things.
