April showers bring May flowers
(US, colloquial, derogatory) A (usually white) woman held in contempt by the speaker because she is basic or unaware of, or is taking advantage of, her social privilege (white privilege).
The month of April, traditionally a rainy period, gives way to May, when flowers will bloom because of the water provided to them by the April rains.
