After failure of these nonoperative measures and after obtaining an opinion from an internal medicine physician that the patient's hemochromatosis and transgender status were not contributing to the patient's headaches and other symptoms, we recommended scapulothoracic bursectomy (the rhomboid major injury was not yet recognized) and capsulolabral reconstruction to be done during the same surgery.
