We have two of them [a longhair (about 8lb) and a shorthair (about 5 lb)]., plus a small terrier (about 10lb) and a biiiig dog (lab/doby mix). Both rat-dogs are excitable, but not nasty. It is hard to sit down in my house without a dogette wanting to jump in your lap. All they want is to be petted and to sleep in your lap.

And so long as it was understood what was meant by them, and they did but serve the people, and preach one thing or another unto them, they hurted not greatly.
