I have noticed that when hustlers upgrade themselves to models (as distinguished from models who have never hustled) they tend to continue being flaky about appointments. On my last trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico, I was stood up twice.
As to the tendency to divinise these totems, this arises no doubt partly out of question (2).
But a laughing woman, with two bright eyes, is the worsest devil of all.
Today i had a chance encounter with our English department webmaster. Some alt.slacker--Oh, i wonder who it could be?--using the terribly clever nom-de-plume, anonymous, accused me of sexual harassment, among other transparent lies and misrepresentations. Our whole encounter exists in the public record, thread on thread, message on message; did he really think anyone would believe so outrageous a claim?
