François Mitterrand was president of France from 1981 to 1995.
Her eight recent paintings, all made with enamel on shaped aluminum panels (and untitled, like the one at left), exhibit combinations of geometric forms and saturated colors — a toothpaste green and a crocuslike violet, a warm gray and a wan chartreuse.
