ラニーニャ現象。赤道付近の太平洋で海面水温が平年より低くなる状態が続くことで、世界各地の異常気象を引き起こす気象現象。
エルニーニョ・南方振動の寒冷期は、持続的な海面水温の異常として、今年この地域の降水パターンを変えた。
