「銀行家丸め」または「偶数丸め」と呼ばれる、四捨五入の一種で、数値が2つの整数の中間に位置する場合、最も近い偶数の整数に丸められる方法です。 / 端数が正確に0.5の場合に、最も近い偶数に丸めることで、統計的な偏りを低減させるラウンディング手法です。
