Japanese Meaning
空城計（くうじょうけい）は、中国の兵法三十六計の一つで、実際には兵力がないにもかかわらず、城門を開け放つなどして敵に「必ず罠がある」と思わせ、撤退させたり攻撃を思いとどまらせたりする計略を指す。転じて、実際には中身や実力がないのに、平然と振る舞って相手をたじろがせる策略やはったりのこともいう。
