レンズやプリズムなどの光学系において、波長の異なる光が異なる位置に結像するために、像の周辺に色ずれやにじみが生じる現象。色収差とも書く。 / 主に写真・映像・望遠鏡・顕微鏡などで問題となる、画面の端やコントラストの強い境界部分に赤・青・紫などの色の縁取りが現れる画質劣化の一種。 / 光学設計において補正・低減の対象となる収差の一種で、屈折率が波長によって変化する（分散する）ことに起因するもの。
