Scheimpflug原理は、カメラなどの光学システムにおいて、レンズ面が画像面と平行でない場合に、焦点が合う平面（被写界深度面）がどのように傾くかを決定する幾何学的規則を指す。 / 具体的には、レンズの傾きにより画像面と交わる焦点面の角度が変化し、被写体のどの部分にピントが合うかを規定する光学原理である。
