Harada‐Ito手技は、第四脳神経麻痺に伴う眼の外旋（excyclotorsion）の改善を目的とした眼筋手術である。 / この手技では、上斜筋の腱が分割され、特に前方の繊維が前方かつ外側に移動させられることで、その繊維が選択的に伸張・締め付けられ、眼の内旋（incyclotorsion）が強化される。
