現代ギリシャの口語言語、すなわち民衆が日常的に使用する言語。 / 1976年にカタレブーサ(Katharevousa)が廃止され公式な現代ギリシャ語として採用された言語。 / 1982年までは多音調(ポリトニック)文字で表記され、以降は単一音調(モノトニック)文字で表記される。
