一本締めは、日本の伝統的な手締めの一種で、主に宴会や式典、行事の締めくくりに行われる掛け声と拍手の作法。通常、「いよーっ」という掛け声の後に、一定のリズムで手を打ち、場を区切ったり、参加者全員の気持ちを一つにまとめたりする目的で用いられる。 / 関東地方などで広く行われる形式では、「三三七拍子」などと混同されることもあるが、一本締め自体は本来「ヨー、パン！」と一回だけ手を打つ形を指し、「三本締め」や「大一本締め」と区別される。 / 転じて、物事の最後をきちんと締めくくる行為や、全体をまとめて終わらせることの比喩として使われることもある。
