A kagome lattice; an arrangement of laths composed of interlaced triangles such that each point where two laths cross has four neighboring points. Although called a lattice, it is more closely related to trihexagonal tiling than to a mathematical lattice.
Short for 籠目籠目(かごめかごめ) (kagome kagome): the bird-in-the-cage
; a Japanese children's game, similar to English children's games, like tag and blind man's bluff.
Short for 籠目紋(かごめもん) (kagome mon): a kind of 家紋 (kamon, “family crest”) featuring the shape of a six-pointed star, like the Star of David, appearing in the intersections of a kagome lattice in the design.
