identified
with
Marw.
The
statement
of
the
Liang-shu
that
Mo
adjoins
Ting-ling
丁零
or
Kao-chʻê
高車
in
the
north
is
based
on
the
misunderstanding
that
Mo
was
located
at
Chʻieh-mo
of
what
is
now
Cherchen
in
Chinese
Turkestan.
