name

constitution
of

place.
It
ceased
to
be
called
Teukcham,
receiving
in
place
of
this
the
name
of
Hsinchu,
and
being
converted
from
a
t'ing
into
a
hsien.
It
is
now
known
as
Hsinchu-hsien
(新竹縣).
