Principal researches: mostly the history of the Croatio-Slavonic »Vojna krajina« in the 19ᵗʰ century, cultural history of the Croatian nation (as a musealist), and since 1970 the history of Burgenland Croats (in 1970 he organized a circulating exhibition in Croatia on Burgenland Croats which visited Burgenland as well, in October 1973 he took part in the »Symposion Croaticon« in Vienna).
