[…] visited the Archbishop, and after protesting how glas he was to see him there, whom he knew to be Catholicly bent, showed him that his intention in repairing to that country was to deal with the King of Spain about reducing Ireland to his government, whereby heresy might be expelled, and true Catholic religion planted.
