Recently I heard a typical radio ad trying to frighten people into purchasing long-term care insurance. The big scare line was that “three out of five Americans will need institutional care, which can cost $60,000 per year."
Oology is the 'pseudo-science' of egg-collecting. For much of the 19th and early 20th centuries this was a respectable and popular activity, very much part of the ornithological establishment. However, as bird protection gradually gained in popularity, egg-collecting declined, and was finally made illegal under various Bird Protection Acts following the Second World War.
It contains micritic grains as algal balls, glaebules, peloids, calcareous intraclasts (Fig 6a ), fragments of mollusk shells (Fig 6b ), “algae” and foraminifera.
There are many varieties of citrus including sweet and sour oranges, lemons, limes, lemon-limes, calomondin and pomelo.
