Overhead wires at 25000 volts AC were used for the electrification of the main line from Euston and they were extended through Camden Road on the No. 1 lines [of the North London Line] to a Freightliner terminal near Maiden Lane on 25th October 1965. They were de-energised at the end of 1971.
