Following TBI, bcl-2 and bax bands intensities reduce 2 hrs after injury (P<0.05) more importantly the bax:bcl-2 ration increases at 2 hrs and remains elevated at 7 days s/p injury (P<0.05) (Raghupathi et al., 2003).
