O God the Father of Heaven, have Mercy upon us, miſerable Sinners. [¶] The addreſſing God the Father, by the Name of Father of Heaven, and the praying to him ſeparately, is juſtified by theſe Words of St. Paul, For this Cauſe I bow my Knees unto the Father of our Lord Jeſus Chriſt, of whom the whole Family in Heaven and Earth is named, Epheſ. iii. 13, 14.
