As defined in Chapter 2, an exceedance probability curve is a graphical representation of the probability that a certain level of loss will be exceeded over a future time period.
A tittle is more or less the same thing (the dot over an i, for instance), except that it can be traced back to Medieval Latin for a little mark over or under a letter, such as an accent ague or a cedilla. I don't know whether an umlaut is one or two tittles. Maybe it's a jot and a tittle side by side.
And a new airport-style system of colour-coded lounges to access platforms has been described as 'bewildering' by many non-regular users of the station, compounded by a lack of passenger information screens away from the main concourse.
