The species I found to be most prevalent on the Spring Green study site were compared with lists of prevalents in compositionally related communities of Wisconsin developed by Curtis (1959).
In general, the most common sites of mandibular fracture are the condyle and angle (especially in the presence of an impacted or semi-erupted third molar), mental foramen or body, parasymphysis, and any part of the dental alveolus.
