In a personal post on Medium, Laird said he hoped the ouster would help educate others about systemic sexism in hackerdom, exacerbated by a tendency toward rule-breaking, distrust of legal authorities in reporting transgressions, and some excessive scenesterism: “There's been a lot of looking the other way in the hacker community when powerful people overstep the bounds, and that has to stop."

As yet another example for that, Cyaah Gwaan To Rhatid (Lutan Fyah, 2015b) shows Lutan Fyah judging wit di Bible inna mi hand in regard to structural enforcements of gay liberation – 'cause Christ never make such law: (...) I have given these points to make it clear that the Chinese are a people of strong emotion; and that this emotion is highest and purest when running in the channels of filial piety and loyalty.
