Japanese Meaning

シャノンの格言として、敵はシステムを既に知っている、すなわち、システムの安全性は秘密の暗号鍵などの秘密情報にのみ依存すべきであり、システムの設計自体は公開されても安全であるという考え方（Kerckhoffsの原則の再表現）

安全なプロトコルを設計する際、セキュリティエンジニアは常に「敵はシステムを知っている」という原則を念頭に置き、攻撃者が仕組みを理解しても安全なシステムを構築します。
