キリスト教における「Expectation Week」は、昇天祭と聖霊降臨祭の間の期間を指し、その期間中に使徒たちがキリストの帰還（再臨）を期待して祈りを続けた時期を意味します。

During Expectation Week the congregation gathered each evening to pray for the coming of Christ.
