(law, archaic) The crime of a subordinate killing a superior (other than the sovereign, which would constitute high treason): a servant killing his master, a wife killing her husband, etc.; and, earlier, certain lesser crimes of subordinates against superiors.

下位の者が上位の者を殺害する犯罪。具体的には、従者が主人を、妻が夫を殺害するなど、従属関係にある者が自らの上司に対して行う殺人を指す（君主殺しは含まれない）。 / （古語）上位者に対して反逆的な行為を行う小規模な犯罪、すなわち身分上の序列に基づく被害を表す。
