小型で鮮やかなオレンジ色と茶色の模様を持つ蝶（Thymelicus lineola）、Hesperiidae科に属する種。ヨーロッパスキッパーとしても知られる。

ヨーロッパセセリ（Thymelicus lineola）という小さく明るい橙色と茶色の蝶が草原の草に止まり、蜜を吸うときに翅をちらつかせていた。
