（航海用語・ロープ）３本または４本のハーサー編みのロープが、反時計回り（左巻き）に撚られて構成された形状を指す。 / ケーブル方式に従って、左方向に撚られたロープ、すなわち複数のロープが束ねられてケーブルのような構造を持つもの。
