衛星（惑星の月や小惑星など）が、他の天体と同じ軌道を共有している天体を指す形容詞。例えば「トロイの小惑星」として用いられる。

同じ軌道を共有する衛星は、大きな惑星と共存し、その前方や後方にある安定したラグランジュ点の一つを占めることで安定していられる。
