Aldrin cycler

(astronautics) A spacecraft which cycles between the planet Earth and the planet Mars, in its own orbit which intercepts both their orbits at times when the planets are at those points in their orbits; which allows transfers to and from Earth and Mars, and transport to and from Earth and Mars.
