キリスト教で、神を指す呼称の一つ。「古の日（ひ）の者」「古くからおられる方」などと訳される。英語 “Ancient of Days” に相当。 / 旧約聖書『ダニエル書』7章に登場する、永遠の昔から存在する神を象徴的に表した呼び名。白い衣と白い髭で描かれることが多い。
